论是中考还是高考，阅读理解都是重头戏，“得阅读者得天下”从不同程度上反映了英语教师和中学生对英语阅读理解的重视程度。
对于已经具备一定中文阅读能力的中学生尤其是高中生来说，阅读方法已经不是影响他们阅读的主要障碍，试想如果把英语阅读理解文章都翻译成中文，学生还看不懂吗？
但是，这并非说阅读方法不重要，因为好的阅读方法不仅可以帮助读者节省阅读时间，而且可以帮助他们提高阅读理解的准确率。
阅读方法其实很简单，但不少老师讲得太多，却抓不住要领。我在教学中总结出阅读理解的四句顺口溜，在这四句顺口溜中，最重要的又只是一句话，你看看：哪句最重要呢？
4句顺口溜：
主旨大意“四个一”，细节“两准”记心里；一找、二带、三比较，信息准确有依据。
考查段落的大意时一般是关注该段落的第一句和最后一句，这是“四个一”
细节“两准”记心里，意思是说对付考查细节搜寻的题，首先是把地方找准，然后是理解一定要准。
“一找、二带、三比较”：“一找”指的是快速浏览文章的大意，或者根本就不阅读文章，直接“找”文章后question中的关键词语，再把关键词语“带”到原文中找相关信息，找到信息点后，“比较”A、B、C、D四个选项中哪个最合适，怎么比较呢，就是顺口溜中的最后一句话，看哪个选项的内容在原文中有依据。

例题：
My color television has given me nothing but a headache. I was able to buy it a little over a year ago because I had my relatives give me money for my birthday instead of a lot of clothes that wouldn’t fit. I let a salesclerk fool me into buying a discontinued model, I realized this a day later, when I saw newspaper advertisements for the set at seventy-five dollars less than I had paid, The set worked so beautifully when I first got it home that I would keep it on until stations signed off for the night. Fortunately, I didn’t get any channels showing all-night movies or I would never have gotten to bed.
Then I started developing a problem with the set that involved static (静电) noise. For some reason, when certain shows switched into a commercial, a loud noise would sound for a few seconds. Gradually, this noise began to appear during a show, and to get rid of it, I had to change to another channel and then change it back. Some times this technique would not work, and I had to pick up the set and shake it to remove the sound. I actually began to build up my arm muscles(肌肉) shaking my set.
When neither of these methods removed the static noise, I would sit helplessly and wait for the noise to go away. At last I ended up hitting the set with my fist, and it stopped working altogether. My trip to the repair shop cost me $62, and the set is working well now, but I keep expecting more trouble.

通过“一找”，我们发现question中的关键词是why…was fooled into…
把这个关键词语“带”回原文，很快在第一段第四行找到when I saw newspaper advertisements for the set at seventy-five dollars less than I had paid,这个信息，马上便可确定答案。
23. How did the author finally get his TV set working again?
A. By shaking and hitting it.
B. By turning it on and off.
C. By switching channels.
D. By having it repaired.
通过“一找”，我们发现“finally”是关键词
再结合 get his TV set working again这个短语
我们在文章最后一段找到信息My trip to the repair shop cost me $62, and the set is working well now，确定正确答案为D。
